FearLess
I wasn’t always fearless.
In fact, I used to let fear sit in the front row of everything I did. It whispered doubts before I raised my hand in class. It held my tongue when I had something important to say. It convinced me to stay quiet, stay small, stay safe.
But one day, I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the person who always said “maybe later.” I wanted to be the kind of person who said “yes,” even when it was scary. The kind of person who dances to their favorite song, even if the world is watching. The kind who stands up, speaks out, and keeps moving—even with shaky hands.
I didn’t wake up one morning with courage in my pocket. No, it came in little moments. Like when I sang out loud in front of someone for the first time. When I stood up for a friend. When I wore the outfit I loved, not the one I thought would blend in.
Each small act whispered something louder than fear ever could:
“You’re growing.”
“You’re stronger than you think.”
“You’re becoming fearless.”
Now, when fear shows up, I nod. I hear it—but I don’t let it steer. My mindset is louder now. And it says, “I’m fearless.”
Even if my voice shakes.
Even if my heart races.
I show up.
Because that’s what fearless looks like.
